Widowed after 30 years of marriage and after her three sons were out of the house, Peggy Bevan reinvented herself and decided to pursue her love of cooking and entertaining. She learned the ins and outs of the catering business with a large local caterer before establishing her own company in 2003. In 2005 she acquired The Egg Shell of Cherry Creek, a Denver mainstay for over 30 years.
In September of 2015 she reluctantly closed her doors due to area redevelopment and her building being demolished.
